S1000D vs JSG 0852 – for Shipyards?

Updated
1 min read

S1000D is a global aviation standard, it comes with high implementation costs, CSDB complexities, and recurring subscriptions. Many XML manuals labeled as S1000D are not fully compliant.

JSG 0852, on the other hand, is aligned with Indian Defence requirements, more economical, and easier for shipyards managing multiple OEM manuals.

The real question isn’t which standard sounds international, its which one is practical, sustainable, and cost-effective for Indian projects.
